I recommend this book to anyone that is thinking of buying an Rottweiler or to anyone that is new to the breed. I find that the information is up to date, accurate, and very instructive. Ms Dearth gives advice on all aspects of ownership and many humorous insights into the personality of this breed. I sincerely hope that anyone thinking about adding a Rottweiler to their family, will read this book first!
Living with Rottweilers, written from the heart. March 12, 2000 Nelson Abdullah (Fort Mitchell, Kentucky) 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
I have never read a book before about Rottweilers that instantly grabbed your attention like Kim Dearth's book Your Rottweiler's Life. Kim has approached the subject from every side: a helpful veterinarian's guide, a dog trainer's 'how to', and a selection of stories with a personal touch from people who own and live with Rottweilers.

A truly loving and detailed book that could be titled "Your Rottweiler's Life with You". This book offers respectful and caring guidance for bringing a Rottweiler into your family, and what it is like to live with and care for one of these large dogs. This book was written with "heart" and attention to detail and is an excellent addition to the Rottweiler fan's library. It is especially useful for someone considering buying or adopting a Rottweiler and for a first time owner.
